SK
The SK series is a bi-directional valve with adjustable stuffing box and cleaning door. This model is a short face-to-face slurry knife gate valve designed to handle abrasive slurries from mineral extraction processes, mine dewatering, bulk handling, concrete industry and general industry.
The SK valve model is a monoblock one-piece body in ductile iron material (other materials under request) that fits at its bore two rubber sleeves, which in open position make a uniform passage. The two abrasive resistant elastomeric sleeves with stainless steel core vulcanized are replaceable without valve disassembly from the pipeline. Only the rubber parts are in contact with the flowing slurry, ensuring a smooth and unobstructed full flow passage reducing pressure drop and cavities while minimizing the wear.
